PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:
- Pray that God will keep your prayer life constantly ignited and fervent that you will remain on fire and in the place of power no matter the situation you are faced with. Always on top.
Pray continually, 1Thessalonians 5:17
- Give thanks to God for strength, harvest, answered prayers, grace, and divine enablement in this season of prayer and fasting.
“The Lord is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:2
- Pray against the spirit of discouragement, laxity, and carelessness in your faith walk. Pray that you will commit to hold unto God’s word until you see the manifestation.
So be strong and courageous!” Joshua 1:19
“And now I entrust you to God and the message of His grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for Himself. Acts 20:32
- Pray for a higher concentration of God’s light in your mind, thoughts, ways, imagination, and actions as you remain aware of His light in you and as you remain conscious of what you carry. Pray for grace to sustain it.
14“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Mathew 5:14–16
- Pray that God will grant you the grace to see people and circumstances through the eyes of faith and through His Word. Pull down every vain imagination that may try to sneak into your mind or consciousness. Grace to say no and to stand with and for the truth of God’s Word.
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Galatians 5:16
- Pray that the Lord will strengthen those who are weak in faith, those who have given up hope, those who are hurting, or faced with one challenge or the other, that the mercy and grace of God will reach them and bring good news and transformation to their situations.
10A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. 13Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. 14Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. 16In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:10–17
The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. What a fool you have been! From now on you will be at war.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
- Pray for the peace and prosperity of Israel. Pray for divine intervention over the nation of Israel. The purpose and plan of God for Israel will be established and nothing will stand in the way.
Like a lion, Israel crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to arouse her? Blessed is everyone who blesses you, O Israel, and cursed is everyone who curses you.” Numbers 24:9
Judah, my son, is a young lion that has finished eating its prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? Genesis 49:9
I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:3
- Pray that God will enable the president of the United States of America and his cabinet to do His will. Pray for wisdom, understanding, and discernment to know what to do at each point in time. Pray that the hand of the lord will rest upon them and that they will encounter God for themselves.
Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:2
The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 2 Peter 3:9
- Pray that God will bring men and women like a flock from the highways and byways into STBC so they will come to know the Lord and serve Him.
“This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am ready to hear Israel’s prayers and to increase their numbers like a flock. Ezekiel 36:37
- Pray that the light of God will dispel every darkness and hindrances in the hearts and lives of men in the Lehigh Valley region so they will be open to embrace the good news of the gospel.
And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 11:19
The goodness of the Lord will overtake you and His glory will rest upon you as you meditate on His Word and remain in a place of prayer in Jesus name.
