PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:
- Thank God for the gift of relationships in your life.
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, NIV).
- Pray for wisdom in building healthy and God-honoring relationships.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17, NIV)
- Ask for healing and restoration in broken relationships.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32, NIV)
- Intercede for your marriage or future marriage to reflect God’s glory.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. (Ephesians 5:25, NIV).
- Pray for grace to forgive and show love to those who have wronged you.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. (Matthew 6:14, NIV)
- Declare that your friendships will encourage and strengthen your faith.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV)
- Ask for discernment in choosing the right people to associate with.
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20, NIV)
- Thank God for surrounding you with people who will support your growth.
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers. (Psalm 1:1, NIV)
