Day 7 (January 11, 2026) Prayer Points: Glory Rested (Weekend Personal Devotion Day)

Scripture Reading:
“And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.” Genesis 2:2
Devotional Thought:
God rested in His glory. Rest is not inactivity; it is confidence in completion. Glory teaches us when to cease striving.
Prayer Focus:
Trust in God’s finished work and rest from anxiety-driven activity.
Prayer Points:

    Hebrews 4:10 (KJV)
  2. Remove anxiety-driven activity
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
    Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
  3. Let trust replace toil
“It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.”
    Psalm 127:2 (KJV)
  4. I rest in finished work
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
    John 19:30 (KJV)
  5. My soul finds peace in You
“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.”
    Psalm 62:1 (KJV)
  6. I am secure in God’s care
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
    Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)
  7. Rest strengthens my faith
“And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.”
    Mark 6:31 (KJV)
