PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:
- Thank God for equipping you with spiritual armor to overcome battles.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. (Ephesians 6:10-11, NIV).
- Pray for strength to resist the enemy and stand firm in faith.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7, NIV)
- Declare victory over every spiritual attack against you and your family.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4, NIV)
- Ask for discernment to recognize and overcome the enemy’s schemes.
In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. (2 Corinthians 2:11, NIV).
- Pray for the breaking of every chain and stronghold in your life.
In that day, the burden will be lifted from their shoulders, their yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat. (Isaiah 10:27, NIV)
- Intercede for those facing spiritual oppression or bondage.
The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free. (Luke 4:18, NIV)
- Declare that you will walk in freedom and authority in Christ.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1, NIV)
- Pray for protection over your mind and emotions from negativity.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. (Philippians 4:8, NIV)
- Ask for an increase in spiritual discernment and wisdom.
For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6, NIV)
- Thank God for being your defender and shield in every battle.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2, NIV)
