Day 2 (January 6, 2026) Prayer Points: The Glory of His Presence

Scripture Reading:
“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14
Devotional Thought:
Glory is inseparable from God’s presence. Where His presence abides, rest replaces striving. Today, you are reminded that the presence of God is not something to chase; it is something to host.
Prayer Focus:
Hosting God’s presence in every STBC gathering, home, and leader.
Prayer Points:

  1. Father, let Your presence rest upon me
“And He said, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” (Exodus 33:14 NKJV)
  2. I welcome Your abiding presence in my life
“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.’” (John 14:23 NKJV)
  3. Remove every distraction from intimacy
“One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4 NKJV)
  4. Teach me to dwell, not rush
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1 NKJV)
  5. Let rest replace anxiety in me
“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.” (Hebrews 4:9 NKJV)
  6. I choose presence over performance
“But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42 NKJV)
  7. I am aware of God with me today
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11 NKJV)
  1. Declarations:
  • Lord, let Your presence rest upon this church.
  • We choose presence over performance.
