PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:
- Pray for a revival in your church, asking for an outpouring of God’s Spirit.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. (Joel 2:28-29, KJV).
- Ask for a hunger and thirst for God’s presence to grow among believers.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Matthew 5:6, KJV)
- Pray for unity in the body of Christ, breaking every division and strife.
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (John 17:21, KJV)
- Intercede for a renewal of love, faith, and hope among Christians.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Corinthians 13:13, KJV).
- Pray for an increase in signs, wonders, and miracles that testify of God’s glory.
By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. (Acts 4:30, KJV)
- Declare that families will be restored and strengthened by His glory.
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. (Malachi 4:6, KJV)
- Ask for a spirit of boldness to preach the gospel and win souls for Christ.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16, KJV)
- Pray for revival in your nation, asking for righteous leadership.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV)
- Declare that every stronghold of sin in your community will be broken.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. (Isaiah 61:1-3, KJV)
- Pray for young people to rise up as bold witnesses of God’s glory.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12, KJV)
- Ask for revival in schools, workplaces, and marketplaces.
And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. (Acts 19:10, KJV)
- Intercede for missionaries and church leaders to be empowered.
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. (Ephesians 6:19-20, KJV)
- Thank God for the revival that is already beginning in 2025.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19, KJV)
