PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:
- Thank God for His presence that accompanies you every step.
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14, NIV).
- Pray for a heart fully devoted to seeking His glory in all things.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33, NIV)
- Declare that your words and actions will reveal God’s glory daily.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17, NIV)
- Ask for wisdom to make God-honoring decisions at every crossroads.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5, NIV).
- Pray for strength to resist temptations and distractions in your journey.
No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c] He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13, NIV)
- Declare that God’s peace will reign in your heart and direct your actions.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15, NIV)
- Ask for opportunities to share His love and light with those around you.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15, NIV)
- Thank Him for the grace to respond to challenges with faith and wisdom.
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV)
- Pray for continuous growth in your spiritual walk with God.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18, NIV)
- Declare that you will walk in His light and truth every day.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin. (1 John 1:7, NIV)
- Ask for the discipline to maintain a consistent prayer and study routine.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. (Psalm 119:105, NIV)
- Thank God for directing your steps according to His divine plan.
In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. (Proverbs 16:9, NIV)
