Day 17 (January 21, 2026) Prayer Points: Glory in Trials

Scripture Reading:
“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:7
Devotional Thought:
Trials refine glory. What is tested and remains becomes authentic. God uses pressure to reveal purity, not to destroy you.
Prayer Focus:
Refined faith and perseverance through challenges.
Prayer Points:

1. Strengthen me through trials

“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” — 1 Peter 1:7 (NKJV)

2. Let faith be refined, not shaken

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” — James 1:2–3 (NKJV)

3. I trust You in adversity

“For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.” — Psalm 66:10 (NKJV)

4. Let perseverance mature me

“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” — Romans 5:3–4 (NKJV)

5. Guard my heart from bitterness

“Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.” — Hebrews 12:15 (NKJV)

6. I overcome through endurance

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” — Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)

7. Glory emerges from trials

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” — 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV)

Declarations:

  • We overcome through faith.
  • Trials refine us, not break us
