Ruling Wisely

“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” — 1 Corinthians 1:30

Welcome to September at STBC, our Month of Kingdom Wisdom.

As a church family, God has been taking us through a clear spiritual journey.

In July, open doors gave us access.

In August, supernatural victory enabled us to overcome resistance and possess what God placed before us.

Now, in September, kingdom wisdom will teach us how to govern wisely what grace has placed in our hands.

Victory gives you territory. Wisdom teaches you how to govern it.

God does not only want to bring us into greater opportunities. He wants to develop the understanding required to steward those opportunities well.

We need wisdom in our homes, marriages, families, relationships, careers, businesses, finances, ministries, and leadership responsibilities. We need wisdom to know when to speak, when to listen, when to move, and when to wait.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” — Proverbs 4:7

Kingdom wisdom is not merely human intelligence or experience. It is the mind of Christ expressed through our daily decisions.

First Corinthians 1:30 tells us that Christ has been made wisdom unto us. Therefore, the wisdom we need is not distant from us. As we receive God’s Word, yield to the Holy Spirit, remain teachable, and walk in humility, the wisdom of Christ will become visible in our lives.

This month, we are asking every member of the STBC family to become more intentional about the decisions you make.

Do not allow fear to hurry you.
Do not allow pressure to control you.
Do not allow pride to prevent you from receiving correction.
Do not make permanent decisions based on temporary emotions.

Pause, pray, listen, examine the facts, receive godly counsel, and allow the wisdom of Christ to guide your next step.

Throughout September, our Sunday services and teaching moments will help us understand how to make wise decisions, steward authority, discern God’s direction, and produce righteous solutions in every area of life.

We believe this will be a month of clarity, discernment, responsible leadership, and fruitful living across every STBC campus.
