Day 1 (January 8, 2024) Prayer Points

Good morning and Blessings to you.

PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY:

  1. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and courts with praise for His goodness and mercy towards you, your family, ministry, career, business, and every area of your life. As it is written in Psalms 100:4–5 (KJV):

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations.” (Psalms 100:4–5, KJV)

  1. Let us consecrate our heart and minds to God and offer our bodies as a living sacrifice unto the Lord unto good works according to Romans 12:1 (AMPC)

“I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.” Romans 12:1 (AMPC)

  1. Ask the Lord to search your heart and purge you of any attitude, mindset, behavior, or character that does not represent Him in your life. Resolve in your heart to align yourself with His divine purpose according to 1 John 3:3 (AMPC)

“And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless).” 1 John 3:3 (AMPC)

  1. Commit your ways and plans to God for the new year, 2024. Ask the Holy Spirit to direct your path as you partner with God’s divine purpose for your life and for your church STBC, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)

  1. Pray for grace to stay focused and committed to the call to fast and pray for 21 days. Pray against every distraction and discouragement so you can finish with victory on every side according to 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)

  1. Pray for your man of God Apostle Ese Duke, that the Lord will use him mightily to meet you at the point of your need. Pray that as he ministers to God’s people, there will be a manifestation of increased strength, grace, anointing, and revelation of the mind and will of God concerning your life and STBC/EDM in the year 2024. According to Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

  1. Pray for illumination and increased sensitivity in the spirit and the willingness to obey God’s instruction in this time of prayer and fasting according to Ephesians 1:18 (NLT)

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.”Ephesians 1:18 (NLT)

  1. Pray and declare the bond of love and the peace of God over every soul and member of STBC. Let there be a manifestation of the glory of God upon your brothers and sisters in Christ during this time of waiting on the Lord. According to John 17:21–23 NLT:

“I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” (John 17:21–23 NLT)

  1. Praise God for answers to prayers and ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you so God’s plan and agenda for your life may be fulfilled in the year 2024. 1 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV)

“For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11 (NIV)

You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you in the name of Jesus.

  1. Mathew

This prayerful reflection is deeply inspiring and resonates with the essence of spiritual dedication and renewal. The incorporation of scripture passages from Psalms, Romans, Proverbs, 1 Peter, and Ephesians provides a solid foundation for seeking God’s guidance and alignment with His divine purpose. The emphasis on consecration, purification, and commitment to God’s will is both encouraging and challenging, inviting believers to introspectively examine their hearts and surrender their plans to His direction.

The call to fast and pray for 21 days, accompanied by prayers against distraction and discouragement, reflects a profound reliance on God’s grace and strength to overcome challenges and emerge victorious. Additionally, the prayer for Apostle Ese Duke and the congregation of STBC/EDM underscores the importance of intercession and spiritual support within the body of Christ.

The closing exhortation to praise God for answered prayers and to invite the Holy Spirit to intercede aligns perfectly with the scriptural admonition to rely on the Spirit’s guidance and empowerment. Overall, this message fosters a deep sense of unity, peace, and anticipation for God’s work in the coming year. Thank you for sharing this uplifting spiritual journey.

Thank you for providing such comprehensive and spiritually enriching prayer points for today. Each point resonates deeply, reminding us of the importance of gratitude, consecration, and alignment with God’s will in our lives. The emphasis on humility and self-reflection, as well as the commitment to fasting and prayer, is truly inspiring.

I particularly appreciate the prayer for Apostle Ese Duke, asking for strength, grace, and divine revelation as he ministers to the congregation. It’s a beautiful reminder of the interconnectedness of our spiritual family and the power of collective prayer.

As we embark on this journey of fasting and prayer, may we be filled with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and illumination, enabling us to walk in obedience and experience the fullness of God’s promises. I eagerly anticipate tonight’s encounter with the Holy Ghost and the opportunity to commune with fellow believers in worship and fellowship.

    Shalom!
